Rather than being confined to one area, this game focuses on 5 different "domains." Each domain comprises a different county in Rhode Island:
Bristol County:
Allegiance: Sabbat
Neighboring Counties:
* Bristol County, Massachusetts: east ()
* Providence County, Rhode Island: north ()
* Kent County, Rhode Island: west ()
* Newport County, Rhode Island: south ()
Cities: None
Towns: Barrington, Bristol, Warren
Info: Formerly ruled by Archishop Atropos, following his Final Death Bristol County is now the seat of Bishop Santino, who claimed Atropos' headquarters beneath the campus of Roger Williams University. In the wake of the Nightflyer Incident of September, 2015, this remains the heart of Sabbat territory.
Kent County:
Allegiance: (in flux)
Neighboring Counties:
* Providence County, Rhode Island - north
* Bristol County, Rhode Island - east
* Washington County, Rhode Island - south
* New London County, Connecticut - west
* Windham County, Connecticut - west
* Newport County, Rhode Island - southeast
Cities: Warwick
Towns: Coventry, East Greenwich, West Greenwich, West Warwick
Info: A Tremere stronghold until a calculated Garou attack in 2007 brought chaos to the area. In the wake of the incursion, the Garou proved unable to consolidate their power, and in 2011, the autark William Gilroy managed to lay claim to the city of Warwick, the county's lynch pin. The rest of the county remains unclaimed by any faction following the Nightflyer Incident, meaning for this most part this county remains lawless in the supernatural community. However, there is rumor of a newly established Tradition Mage presence in Coventry, though this has not yet been confirmed.
Newport County:
Allegiance: Sabbat
Neighboring Counties:
* Bristol County, Rhode Island - north
* Bristol County, Massachusetts - east
* Washington County, Rhode Island - west
Cities: Newport
Towns: Jamestown, Little Compton, Middletown, Portsmouth, Tiverton
Info: Having been less powerful than the court based in Providence, until recently Carel van den Driessche held sway among the mansions and celebrities of Newport. Having held the title of Prince, but also paying grudging respect to Alim Nadal's claim of Praxis over the whole of Rhode Island, and serving (occasionally) as the Toreador Primogen in Prince Nadal's court, van den Driessche walked a fine line until July 4th, 2012. The county of Newport fell to a Sabbat invasion, and Carel and the rest of the Toreador were forced to flee to Providence. Also forced to flee from Portsmouth were the few Anarchs who survived the incursion. While the Sabbat held sway for three years, the Nightflyer Incident of September, 2015 weakened the Sabbat and made their hold on this largely upscale county, already ill-suited to their presence, even more tenuous.
Providence County:
Allegiance: Camarilla
Neighboring Counties:
* Norfolk County, Massachusetts - northeast
* Bristol County, Massachusetts - east
* Bristol County, Rhode Island - southeast
* Kent County, Rhode Island - south
* Windham County, Connecticut - west
* Worcester County, Massachusetts - northwest
Cities: Central Falls, Cranston, East Providence, Pawtucket, Providence, Woonsocket
Towns: Burrillville, Cumberland, Foster, Glocester, Johnston, Lincoln, North Providence, North Smithfield, Scituate, Smithfield
Info: The most powerful and populated region in the state, this domain was ruled by Prince Alim Nadal, who had served since 1984 as the Prince, Nadal granting clan domains in most of the major cities in Rhode Island, fragmenting his power, but also dividing his enemies. In 2011, after Nadal was appointed Ventrue Justicar at the Grand Conclave, praxis passed to his former Seneschal, John Rice. The clan domains are: Ventrue in Providence, Brujah in Cranston, Malkavians in Pawtucket, Tremere in North Providence, and until 2012, the Toreador in Newport. This continued until Prince Rice met Final Death during the Nightflyer incident in September, 2015, and was subsequently succeeded in praxis by the Ventrue Gabrielle Timmerman in February, 2016. It is yet to be determined if her fledgeling praxis will continue the practice of clan domains.
Washington County:
Allegiance: Garou
Neighboring Counties:
* Kent County, Rhode Island - north
* Bristol County, Rhode Island - northeast
* Newport County, Rhode Island - east
* Dukes County, Massachusetts - southeast
* Suffolk County, New York - southwest
* New London County, Connecticut - west
* Windham County, Connecticut - northwest
Cities: None
Towns: Charlestown, Exeter, Hopkinton, Narragansett, New Shoreham, North Kingstown, Richmond, South Kingstown, Westerly
Info: Two caerns dot the landscape - the Fading Light sept located at the caern in Richmond, and the Glass Forest sept at the urban caern located in the Software Innovations complex in Narragansett. Despite its physical size and preeminence, the Fading Light caern is not as spiritually powerful as its importance would suggest, and was only recently reopened by the great Silver Fang hero Blade-That-Mends when he began to gather his army. It was from here that Kent County was cleared in 2007, and the rest of the state looked to follow. In early 2013 the sept went silent, and it was discovered that Blade That Mends and his army had marched into the Umbra and were lost. The repopulated sept held the caern through siege in the September, 2015 Nightflyer Incident.
The Glass Forest is a small Glass Walker sept whose existence remains a closely guarded secret known only to their fellow Garou. There is rumor that there had been another caern, but if so it is lost to the Garou for the moment.
