Rhode Island by Night is a game based on Vampire: the Masquerade and Werewolf: the Apocalypse in the old World of Darkness universe from White Wolf. Players create one of these creatures to interact in the highly political world of the Ocean State.

We will be using 20th Anniversary rules for both VtM and WtA. The genre will have minor alterations from that presented in the books, but will be mostly consistent with the original.

This game is open to new players. Character creation will be very hands-on between the players and the ST staff, both to ensure the player is a fit for the game, and to ensure that the character is consistent with the genre. To make a character, PM AST Jim, as well as the appropriate genre AST.

AST Talespinner for Garou characters
AST Dox for mages
AST Jim for vampires or mortals

The goal of this game is to maintain a fun environment that sustains a lack of interpersonal issues between players involved in the game. This is not to say that everyone will get along all the time, but disruptive OOC issues are an issue we don't want to deal with.

Please note that the general power level of this game is somewhat lower than on many other boards, both to preserve the sense of horror living in the World of Darkness entails, as well as to keep the characters relatively in line with published canon characters.
